Missions

The last command the Lord Jesus left to His followers was to "be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."  The Sandy Branch family seeks to answer the Lord's call by serving locally, nationally, and globally.  Below is a list of organizations with whom we have established relationships to spread the Gospel.  

 

West Chatham Food Bank   The West Chatham Food Bank's mission is to feed the hungry and food insufficient by providing a food pantry through a network of faith-based communities, civic organizations, and other stakeholders.  

Sandy Creek Baptist Association   Since 1758, the Sandy Creek Baptist Association has partnered with it's churches and missions to provide assistance, training, resources, missions opportunities, fellowship events, and more as they seek to fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord in their communities.  

Baptist State Convention of North Carolina  The Baptist State Convention of North Carolina unites the over 4200 Southern Baptist churches of North Carolina reach North Carolina 9.5 million residents with the Gospel.  

North Carolina Baptist Men  The North Carolina Baptist Men provides opportunities for North Carolina Baptists to share God's love through various service missions including disaster relief and recovery, mission camps, and national/international partnerships.

Baptist Children's Home of North Carolina  Baptist Children's Home of North Carolina has served the children and families of North Carolina for over 125 years.  It's 18 campuses seek to help hurting children through difficult times and heal broken families.   Sandy Branch also specifically supports the Cameron Boys Camp.  

New Salem Baptist Church  New Salem Baptist Church has been God's messengers to Culpeper, Virginia since 1834.  Sandy Branch began a relationship with New Salem in 2011 when we assisted them in their Vacation Bible School.  We are now prayer partners for New Salem as they seek to reach the Culpeper community and co-laborers in other missions endeavors.  

Plant Ohio  Plant Ohio is partnership that seek to spread the Gospel in NE Ohio through church planting.  Sandy Branch is pleased to help sponsor the church plant in Geneva and will be doing on-site missions work in years to come to assist in reaching Geneva for Jesus Christ.  

The Southern Baptist Convention  Since 1845, the Southern Baptist Convention has served as an avenue through which Baptist churches of sizes can fulfill the Great Commission.  The International Mission Board supports over 5000 missionaries throughout the world while the North American Mission Board works across North America to plant churches and support local missionaries.
